Mary T. Moore, D.V.M. 


Dr. Moore has been a veterinarian for over 23 years. Mary started her career in Florence, South Carolina as an Associate Veterinarian. She moved to Columbia, South Carolina where she worked for Columbia Animal Services as a Staff Veterinarian. After working in Columbia she moved to Newnan, Georgia. Dr. Moore has been practicing in Newnan over fifteen years. Dr. Moore is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. Dr. Moore graduated with honors from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She completed her under graduate work at the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Moore is married and has one son. They are residents of Summergrove. They are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newnan. Dr. Moore has three dog and a cat.
Crescent Veterinary Hospital has been serving Newnan and the surrounding areas for more than 11 years. Dr. Mary Moore founded Crescent Veterinary Hospital and the practice became an AAHA accredited practice in 2008. It has continued to grow and become cutting edge with new veterinary medical practices by adding the newest veterinary equipment and technology to offer the best veterinary services to our patients.

Kathy Tomlinson


Kathy worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years prior to her marriage and starting a family. After her children entered school, she worked as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. She and her family moved to Newnan in 2006. She began work at Crescent Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist and is now our Office Manager. Her family has two dogs-Shadow, a precious little man of unknown decent and an Australian Cattle dog named Loka. Her favorite activities are camping and photography.

We are an accredited practice by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We adhere to the protocols and standards of AAHA. To achieve and maintain this certification we allow our 
hospital, procedures, protocols, records and training programs to be inspected by AAHA. There 
are over 900 standards that a hospital is reviewed on to become an Accredited Practice.  Only 15 percent of the veterinary hospitals in the United States are an Accredited Practice Member. To learn more about AAHA and why this accreditation is important please visit.

Sherry Turner


 Sherry Turner is a single mom of a young son, Pomeranians and a cat. She has been grooming over 13 years and has worked at major grooming salons in the area. She has groomed many different breeds of dogs and cats over the years and has a gift of making them look their best. Sherry is excited to be part of the Crescent Veterinary team and be back in Newnan.
