VETERINARIAN
Mary T. Moor
e, D.V.M.
Dr. Moore has been a veterinarian for over 15 years. Mary started her career in Florence, South Carolina as an Associate Veterinarian. She moved to Columbia, South Carolina where she worked for Columbia Animal Services as a Staff Veterinarian. After working in Columbia she moved to Newnan, Georgia. Dr. Moore worked in the Newnan area as an Associate Veterinarian for over three years prior to opening Crescent Veterinary Hosptial. Dr. Moore decided in 2005 to create Crescent Veterinary Hospital. During the planning and construction of the hospital Dr. Moore worked on a temporary basis for Southern Hope Humane Society as a Veterinarian for Fulton County Animal Services. She also serves as an expert witness for Fulton County in animal cruelty cases. Dr. Moore is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina.
Dr. Moore graduated with honors from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She completed her under graduate work at the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Associaion, The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and the Southern Crescent Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Moore is married and has one son. They are residents of Summergrove. They are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newnan. Dr. Moore has one dog and three cats. STAFF
Leslie has worked in the veterinary field since 1993. She relocated several years ago from Boca Raton, Florida. Leslie loves working with animals. Leslie lives in Franklin, Georgia with her husband and two sons. They have several dogs and cats.
Katie has worked in this field for over five years. She is working on her undergraduate major in Chemistry and a minor in Business Management. Katie has plans to attend veterinary medical school in the near future. Katie loves animals and has four dogs. She loves pets as they give so much to people without expecting much in return. She says: "It's always nice to know that whether you are having a fabulous day or less, you have little greeters at home that always make you feel like the most important person." Katie enjoys her work because she is very effective in helping pet owners' "companion friends" with everything from wellness checkups to pets in crisis.
Christina Murdoch, Veterinary Assistant
Christina has been a vertinary assistant for over nine years. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology from Florida Atlantic University. Sher and her husband, Sean, recently relocated to Franklin, Georgia as she could be closer to veterinary schools she plans to attend. She and her husband have three cats, four dogs, three horses and a donkey. They have started a large animal rescue called Wildfire Ranch Animal Rescue.
Kathy has worked in the corporate and education fields for over 30 years in clerical, administrative, and teaching positions. In her role as receptionist at Crescent Veterinary, she is able to incorporate her clerical and interpersonal skills along with her lifelong love of dogs and cats to provide level "10" customer service. Kathy is married and has two teenage children. They live in the Northgate High School vicinity and attend Peachtree City Christian Church. Kathy has a miniature schnauzer named Stormi and he son has a Chinchilla named Vajeeta. She enjoys photography, sewing, scrapbooking and camping.
Leuree has been in the veterinary field for over 18 years. Orignially from Peniscola, Florida moved to Maine then relocated to the Newnan area over three years ago. Leuree earned her college degree in english and communication from Bowdoin College in Maine. She is active in Greyhound and Daughson rescue. Leuree also freelances her voice talent to be voice overs for radio and television commercials. Leuree loves animals and has several dogs and cats.
Deb Beaupre, Receptionist
Deb moved to Georgia from Ohio. She has worked in the veterinary field for eight years. She lives in Newnan with her husband Ron. Deb loves working with animals. She owns a cat named Polly.
Leslie Yeager, Pet Care Specialist
Leslie was born and raised in Coweta County. She graduated from East Coweta High School. Leslie enjoys skeet shooting as a hobby. She is very active in her church and spends time visiting patients in local nursing homes. She is in school working toward her Physical Therapy degree. Leslie loves pets and has many dogs and cats on the family farm.
Caroline Stephens, Pet Care Specialist
Caroline was raised in Newnan. She graduated this year from East Coweta High School and will be attending GA Tech this fall. She will be studying biology. Caroline loves working with dogs and cats.
GROOMING
Natasha Phillips, Professional Groomer
Natasha lives in Franklin, Georgia. She has been a professional groomer over six years. She enjoys making dogs and cats look their best. She is very caring and patient with both dogs and cats while making them look great. She has always owned a number of pets. Natasha is married and has one daughter.
